Weekly Devotional: The Fatherhood of God

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. — 1 John 3:1

As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him. — Psalm 103:13

Now you are no longer a slave but God's own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. — Galatians 4:7

Because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, 'Abba, Father.' — Galatians 4:6

You are not an orphan. You are not alone. You have a Father in heaven who sees you, knows you, and calls you his own.
