Workers’ Appreciation Day

We thank God for each person who serves in our church in any way. Therefore, Sunday, November 8th, will be workers' appreciation day, and we will celebrate our workers by having a “providence” lunch after church.

Keeping Our Vision in View

Pray that we learn what God wants to teach us about being and making disciples of Jesus. Matthew 28:18–19.

The Effectiveness of Our Evangelism Depends on Prayer

Lord, may your hand be with the members of our church as we spread the gospel, giving us fruit and success.

A Promise of Answers to Prayer and Faith

Matthew 7:7–8 ESV says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.”

A Promise of Protection

Psalm 91:4 ESV says, “He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.”

A Promise of Wisdom

Isaiah 9:6 says, “His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor.” ESV

A Promise of Healing and Health

Matthew 14:35–36 ESV says, “When the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well.”

A Promise of Full Provision

Psalm 33:18–19 says, “Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.” (ESV)

An Exhortation from Jesus

“Keep your lamps burning” (Luke 12:35).

The Reliability of the Bible

Psalm 119:105 ESV - “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
