Title: The Joy Found in Scripture
Psalm 19:8: “The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart.”
Jeremiah 15:16: “Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O LORD, God of hosts.”
Main Idea: God’s Word gives joy.
More: Some people make the mistake of thinking if they have read the Bible once or twice they no longer need to read it regularly. They “know it.”
However, one reason we need to read the Word daily is we need joy daily. Reading and believing God’s Word brings joy.
Faith and Worship Declarations: Thank you, Father, for your Words. Your Word is the joy and delight of my heart.
