Day 6 — Friday, March 10th
Scripture: Deuteronomy 33:1, 23
“This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death…. Of Naphtali he said, ‘O Naphtali, sated with favor, and full of the blessing of the LORD, possess the lake and the south.’” (italics added)
Main Idea: God’s favor will fully satisfy you. You will be sated (indulged to the full) with God’s favor. You will be full of his blessing. This is the future of every child of God.
For Hungry Readers: When Moses blessed the 12 tribes of Israel, the blessing that he spoke upon the tribe of Naphtali expresses the heart of God for all his children. God intends for us to be sated with favor and full of his blessing. He intends abundance, like a Thanksgiving meal. In the age to come there will be no lack, no emptiness, no hunger or thirst.
Faith Declarations: I am sated with God’s favor. I am full of God’s blessing. His goodness and kindness will satisfy me both now and forever.
